I painted this during a wine and painting class in Rome the second time I went, but this time with someone I was falling for. What started as a whirlwind romance turned into something intense, exciting, and full of promise. But like many things that burn fast, it ended in heartbreak. This piece holds both the magic and the pain. The glow of what was, and the silence of what didn’t last. It’s a memory of love, of loss, and of lessons learned far from home.
